Quality optics
Levenhuk LabZZ M101 Azure Microscope – children’s microscope with quality optics (not inferior to serious ‘adult’ microscope models). The microscope features three objective lenses: 4x, 10x and 40x. You can easy and quickly switch the objectives by rotating the revolving nosepiece. The kit includes a sliding eyepiece with two magnifications (10x and 16x) – much more convenient than two standard eyepieces. A child won’t need to change eyepieces all the time; therefore there’s no risk of losing them. The microscope provides six levels of magnification: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x.

Exploring the microcosm
The microscope is designed for viewing microscope samples in transmitted light. The sample should be placed on the round stage (it can be a thin slice of onion or any indoor plant). The studied sample is securely fixed in place with two clips. The light (emitted by the lower illuminator) passes through the specimen, creating the magnified image of the observed sample. Different samples require different illumination intensity; that’s why the brightness is adjustable.

Comfort and safety
The microscope comes in a lightweight, yet reliable plastic body. The ocular head is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees – it ensures a comfortable viewing position and excludes any strain during lengthy use. The microscope doesn’t require a power source nearby – the illumination is powered by batteries. It’s not only safer, but much more convenient – young biologists can use it outdoors!

Experiment kit
The microscope comes with a variety of tools for conducting first microscope experiments at home – from ready-to-use microscope samples to special accessories for breeding microscopic crustaceans at home. Moreover, the kit includes an informative user guide – it contains information about the microscope, as well as useful tips, recommendations, and experiment descriptions.
