General Pointers

We have written each page in this website to the XHTML 1.0 Strict standard using valid CSS and have also endeavored to conform to the Section 508 standards and the WCAG guidelines on web accessability. If you find, as you browse the website, that we have lapsed then please let us know and we will rectify the problem as soon as possible.

We have two F.A.Q. sections which may be able to help you further. Website F.A.Q. contains questions and answers about our website and Binocular F.A.Q. contains questions and answers about binoculars.

We are always open to suggestions which will make the website easier to use for everyone.

1. The main page links

These provide a link to the main areas of the website.

2. The sub page links

These provide links to the pages within each area of the website. If no links appear then there are no more pages in that area.

3. Page title

This is the title of the page being viewed. It gives an indication of what can be found in the page contents.

4. Product search

You can select a product use from the drop down list or enter text in to the provided box. Selecting 'Search' returns a list of products for the specified use or that match the entered text in some way. 5. Binocular Finder

By answering a few questions the Binocular Finder provides you with a list of the products that will be most suitable for your use. More details on using the Binocular Finder can be found at this link: Using the Binocular Finder.

6. Shopping Basket

The shopping basket allows you select products and then purchase them on-line. The shopping basket remains hidden while it is empty. More details on using the shopping basket can be found at this link: Using the shopping basket.

7. Product Comparison

The product comparison allows you to select up to 5 products to compare against each other. This is useful if you wish to compare several products against each other. The product comparison box remains hidden while there is nothing to compare. More details on using the product comparison can be found at this link: Using the product comparison.
