- 1. Paging information
- This section shows details about the what page you are on, the total number of pages and how many results are being shown on each page.
- 2. Sort fields
- Selecting these fields will sort the results by that value. This image
implies that value is sorted ascending, while this image implies that the value is sorted descending. By default the product search is sorted by price in ascending order (cheapest to most expensive), the product selection search is sorted by product suitability and then ascending price.
- 3. Product details link
- Both the product image and the product name provides a link to a page which contains more details of that product.
- 4. Product use icons
- These icons are used to indicate the most suitable uses for the product. We have broken down the main product uses to ten uses: birding, wildlife, landscape, sport, marine, aviation, theatre/concert, low light, general purpose and distance observation. There are also icons which indicate if a product is fully waterproof or has long eye relief. A hidden list of the text version of these icons is always provided for screen readers. - 5. Unit Price
- This is the cost in Pounds Sterling for one of the products.
- 6. Product use star rating
- These are only seen when the user is making an Product Selection Search. These are the star ratings for each of the ranked product uses from the advanced search page. - 7. Action links
- There are two actions that can be taken for each product. The product can be added to the product comparison list or added to the shopping basket.
