Caring for your Binoculars

Following these simple steps should keep your binocular working for years:

• When you are not using your binocular always store it in its case. Keep this in a dry area.
• If you need to clean the lenses (6 in the image above) always use a soft lintless cloth. Never use a corner of your t-shirt. To remove more persistant dirt use a couple of drops of isopropyl alcohol on the cloth.
• If you wish to clean the body of the binocular (4 in the image above) then use a dry cloth to remove the dirt. If you have waterproof binoculars we recommend that you wash them with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
• Never try to take your binoculars apart or clean them internally. It will more than likely stop them from working properly.

CAUTION. Never look at the sun through binoculars or with the naked eye. It can cause permanent eye damage!
